By low-cost shuttle transfer GoOpti
The easiest, fastest and most reliable manner of transport from Ljubljana Airport (LJU) or from Ljubljana Central bus/railway station is provided by low-cost shuttle transfer GoOpti, who will take you to our door. You can choose any other entry point in Slovenia or in the neighbouring countries, and enter any address. The price depends on the number of passengers, the date and time of the journey, the booking date and the entry point. The transport can be booked online and paid in advance. The sooner you book, the lower the price.
By bus from Ljubljana (via Kranj and Bled)
You can take a bus from Ljubljana via Kranj and Bled. It departs every full hour from 6.00 to 21.00. Please get on the bus at Ljubljana Bus Station (Ljubljana avtobusna postaja), and get off at the Bohinj Zlatorog bus station, only 200 m from Vila Park (latest departure from Ljubljana at 17.00), or at the Bohinj Jezero bus station, which is 5 km from Vila Park, and you will need a taxi as well (latest departure from Ljubljana at 21.00). The journey takes approximately two hours. One way ticket costs 8,70 € per person, and can be purchased on the bus. You can get on the bus at any other station (Kranj, Radovljica, Bled, Bohinjska Bistrica …) along the bus route. Please see the timetable.
By bus from Ljubljana Airport (LJU)
From Ljubljana Airport (LJU), you can first take the bus to Kranj, and then get on the bus driving from Ljubljana Bus Station (Ljubljana avtobusna postaja) – to Bohinj (Bohinj Zlatorog or Bohinj Jezero) (see above). The journey – excluding waiting time for the bus change – takes approximately two hours. The price of both one way tickets amounts to 8,50 € per person, and they can be purchased on the bus. Where to eat?
There is a restaurant with favourable reviews just 500 m away (Picerija Ukanc) and offers pizza, pasta, salads... There are other good restaurants in Bohinj offering a wide variety of dishes, just a bit farther away from Vila Park.
