“Great hotel, great host, great food ... ohhh nearly forgot, the most beautiful place I have seen. The rooms are emaculate and the continental breakfast is excellent. There is also free tea and coffee all day, with a well stocked honesty bar, all in all a great place to stay with a great host.”

“The owner lady was very attentive and supportive with a sense to details. She helped us a lot during our 6 days stay. The place is perfect - close to a hidden white beach and lake with views to mountains. The house has been decorated and furnished in a unified style that makes the place really relaxing and calming. Nearly end of the road. Very good restaurants nearby. The walk along nothern lake bank and the uphill track to the Black lake was wonderfull. Swimming in the lake in the morning with no people around was a joy. The crystal-clear green river just beside the house was amazing.”

“The owner couldn't have been more helpful. Our room was excellent, including a very welcome heated floor in the bathroom. The location is superb, lake Bohinj is just a stone's throw away and it is a great base for walking, hiking or cycling. We highly recommend Villa Park Inn.”

“It is difficult to do this wonderful establishment full justice in a few words. The standards of décor and service are exceptional. Our room was spotless, as was every other part of the Pension for that matter. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide choice, plus coffee and tea are available all day in the lounge and there is an honesty bar available. I would recommend that you do some research before you go so as not miss out on the wide range of activities available in the immediate vicinity, we stayed for 10 days and found plenty to keep us occupied. We didn't bother to hire a car as public transport is cheap and frequent; airport transfers are also easy to arrange and cheap. Although evening meals are no longer available at the Pension this is no problem as there are two very good restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance, both are very reasonably priced each with a good selection. We were sad to leave.”

“Vila Park is a small, perfectly-run little paradise tucked away at the Western end of Lake Bohinj. You will be looked after wonderfully by your host, Jana, from sumptuous breakfast to retiring to a comfortable spacious room. The free wifi was quick and reliable, the guest lounge welcoming and the well-stocked honesty bar made it the perfect place to relax after a strenuous hike in the spectacular Julian Alps.”

“The owner was very friendly and helpful. She gave us maps and tips where to hike. The breakfast was great and into the detail. The room is spacious and very clean, and so is the rest of the house. All you need for a relaxing stay surrounded by a peaceful nature.”
