“My boyfriend and I stayed in Vila Park for two nights during our ski vacation and absolutely loved the place!!! Great location (3 min from the lake, mountain views), room was comfortable, clean and breakfasts absolutely delicius. The proprietor is friendly and very helpful. Definitely recommended & definitely the place to return to!!”

“My wife and I spent two nights of our honeymoon in this lovely B&B. The rooms are clean and well designed, it's located in walking distance of the lovely Lake Bohinj, and the owner was very helpful. I will definitely come back here when I visit Slovenia again.”

“Vila Park was the perfect place to spend a few days around Lake Bohinj. It's inside the Triglav National Park, surrounded by nature. The inn itself is spotless, the rooms are great, the breakfasts are delicious. Jana, the proprietor, is warm, friendly and very helpful. You feel so comfortable there. Would love to come back again.”

“Vila Park was the nicest place I've ever stayed. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Food was outstanding and even worked round my very fussy diet. Loved the atmosphere here, warm, cosy, homely and friendly. Location was amazing. A river in the garden and a lake and mountains on the doorstep. So peacefull and a perfect escape from the world. But it was the host that made the stay, so thank you Jana, don't think we have ever been so well looked after.”

“The proprietor could not have been more accommodating and delightful. Loved how our room felt cozy and home like with book shelves lined with books, in English and Slovenian, and plenty of closet and drawer space. Balcony was a nice surprise.”

“We liked everything about this place. The location is outstanding, at the end of Lake Bohinj, in the middle of the national park. The house and grounds are comfortable and inviting, the breakfast was excellent, and Jana, the proprietor, was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. We stayed 3 nights, and would have been happy to stay longer.”

“Vila Park is located in a wonderful place. Very peaceful, very beautiful, the whole Bohinj region looks like it was carefully scissored out of an old folklore story and sewn on the surface of Earth. Lots of remarkable places in a distance of walking tour from the hotel. Jana, the owner of the hotel, is very kind and attentive. She's just great, that's it. She manages to maintain the place spotless and warmly welcoming. Room was great: reasonably furnished and always clean, with bookcases including two shelves entirely occupied with issues of National Geographic. Exellent food too. Everything was fantastic. Many thanks to Jana.”

“Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable beds and pillows. Lovely breakfasts. Evening meals were freshly cooked. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Vila Park Inn is in a spectacular location at the far end of Lake Bohinj with a beautiful stream running past the garden. There are many lovely walks in the area (pick up a map from the local tourist office for details) and the cable car to the Vogel plateau is also within walking distance, giving access to more high level walks. All trails are clearly marked at the start with signposts and after that you need to follow the painted marks on rocks or trees.”
